Co-financing of PLN 1,500 for the purchase of a hearing aid for 79-year-old Ms Jadwiga. Jadwiga 79 years old, suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, tetraplegia, polyarticular deformity and limb contracture. The woman no longer gets out of bed. It requires round-the-clock care. She is looked after by her daughter Edyta (57), who had to quit her job a few years ago to devote herself to helping her mother. They have no one else. When they need to go shopping or get medicine, they have to ask their neighbor for help, so that she can stay with Ms. Jadwiga for a while. Before that, they led a quiet life. Each of them had a separate household and lived without much worry. Mrs. Jadwiga lived on a low pension, and Mrs. Edyta was professionally active, helping her mother financially. The most difficult thing for them in all of this is helplessness. Edyta is strong and persistent, she tries to do everything to meet the most important needs of her sick mother. Despite everything, she is cheerful, smiling, and does not complain about her fate. We were able to help as part of the Szlachetna Paczka by subsidizing the purchase of a hearing aid.
